Two opening films for live events

Project overview

Two logo intros opened live events. One is a 3D logo reveal for "12 Years", a twelfth-anniversary mark for Investment Board Nepal, made for the Nepal Investment Summit 2024. The other is the theme banner for Power Summit '23, held on 18 and 19 April 2023 in Kathmandu: an energy-themed film on a wide 2800 × 1000 px canvas, with sound, that ends on the power-button emblem with a globe that also appears on the summit's stage screens and lectern.

12 Years logo reveal

The film opens in extreme close-up on black 3D numerals edged in gold, with the words "Investment Board Nepal" running along their surface. The camera pulls back to the "12" logo on a dark, textured wall. A burst of red, blue and white particles then resolves it into the full-colour logo with a reflection below.

Where it ran

Nepal Investment Summit 2024

I made the 12 Years logo intro for the Nepal Investment Summit 2024, held on 28 and 29 April in Kathmandu. These photographs show the summit stage, with the #InvestInNepal hashtag and the summit emblem on its screens.

Power Summit '23

Power Summit '23, on a wide canvas

The summit, "Broadening Green Energy Markets", had the Government of Nepal as patron, Investment Board Nepal as co-organiser and the Independent Power Producers' Association, Nepal as organiser, as printed on its stage screen. The theme banner runs 52 seconds on a 2800 × 1000 px canvas. It moves through green light and wireframe imagery of power: a glowing beam, a transmission tower, a crane and machinery, then rays of light. It settles on a glowing power-button emblem with a globe at its centre, and the film carries a soundtrack.
